Posting orders for a Shopify customer to a specific Xero account
In specific cases, especially for B2B or wholesale, you may choose to post orders for a specific Shopify customer to a specific account code in Xero.
This requires a setting to be enabled by the Hyve support team. Please reach out via live chat or email help@hyvelabs.co to enable this.
Once the setting has been enabled, you can then tag the customer on Shopify with the Xero account code. It will need to be in the format: Hyve-Account-XXX
, where XXX is the Xero account code, ie. Hyve-Account-201 per the screenshot below.
Hit Save that in Shopify, to save that new tag.
Once that's been set up, any orders attached to that Shopify customer will be posted to the Xero account code that has been specified, in this instance 201.
