View Orders
The "Orders Dashboard" page lets you view all the orders from your Shopify store and their status as they are posted to Xero.
Auto Sync Orders
This setting syncs orders from Shopify to Xero automatically as they are created without any manual intervention.
Tip:
If this is your first time using "Post to Xero", we suggest leaving this disabled and manually posting your first order via the "Orders - Dashboard" screen, and then checking in Xero to ensure everything flows through as expected.
Once you're happy with how orders are flowing through to Xero, you can then enable the setting.
Show / Sync Orders Date
This settings lets you select a specific date to show orders from.
By default, this is set to the maximum of 60 days prior to today, as that is the maximum Shopify lets apps pull order data from a store.
Orders
This table shows the orders based on the date selected in the "Show / Sync Orders Date" section.
Types of Xero Status
Xero Status | Description |
---|---|
Posted | Order has been posted successfully to Xero. The Xero invoice is shown in the "Xero Invoice" column with a direct link to the invoice in Xero. |
Pending | This usually means there is a set up missing. Depending on the data that is missing, an invoice might still be generated, and if so, it'll show up in the "Xero Invoice" column. If no invoice is generated or you'd like to find out more about the error, you can reach out to us via the Live Chat button or email (help@hyvelabs.co). |
Error | There was an error creating the invoice. If you'd like to find out more about the error, you can reach out to us via the Live Chat button or email (help@hyvelabs.co). |
Empty / Not Provided | The order from Shopify has not been posted to Xero. This might be due to your store being on the "Basic" plan for the app which only does syncs once a day vs in real-time, or you disabled Auto Sync Orders. |
