Post tips to their own Xero account

Tips are part of the order total, but they're rarely part of your sales. They're often taxed differently, and usually they're heading straight back out to staff, so most stores want them sitting in their own account in Xero rather than mixed in with product revenue.

How to set it up

1. Go to Setup - Advanced.
2. Find Post tips to Xero and click Post tips to a Xero sales account.
3. Choose the Xero sales account the tip should go to.
4. Choose the tax rate to apply.
5. Optionally, set a description override so the tip line reads how you want it in Xero.

Orders without a tip aren't touched, so you won't get blank lines on ordinary invoices. Which account and which tax rate is right depends on where you are and how you pay tips out, so check with your accountant before setting this one up.
