Add the SKU to product names in Xero

A Xero invoice line normally shows just the Shopify product name. That's fine until you have two products called much the same thing, or your bookkeeper works from SKUs rather than names.

How it Works

The line reads Product name (SKU). So Blue T-Shirt becomes Blue T-Shirt (TSHIRT-BLU-M). Products without a SKU are left alone, so you won't end up with empty brackets.

How to turn it on

1. Go to Setup - Advanced.
2. Find Add SKU to product name.
3. Click Turn on.

Invoices already in Xero keep the descriptions they have.
