Sync only some of your orders, using order tags

Some stores don't want every order in Xero. Wholesale in but retail out, or everything except sample orders, or one sales channel handled separately.

How it Works

Order tags decide it. We set up the tags you use and mark each one as either include or exclude:

• Exclude - orders carrying that tag are skipped and never reach Xero.
• Include - as soon as one tag is marked include, the filter becomes an allow-list: only orders carrying that tag sync, and everything else is skipped.

That second one catches people out, so it's worth saying plainly. One include tag changes the rule for the whole store, not just for tagged orders.

How to Request Setup

Email us at help@hyvelabs.co with your shop URL and the tags you want used, saying for each whether it should include or exclude. Tags need to be on the order at the time it syncs, so if something else adds them later, mention that too.

Skipped orders show as Skipped on Dashboard - Orders, so you can always see what was left out.
