Turn off refund syncing

By default every Shopify refund creates a matching credit note in Xero. A few stores handle refunds a different way and want the app to leave them alone entirely.

How it Works

Refund syncing is a store-wide switch. With it off, refund notifications from Shopify are ignored: no credit note is created, and no refund payment is posted. Invoices carry on syncing as normal.

This is deliberately not on the settings pages. Turning it off means your Xero books stop reflecting money you've given back, which is a big change and an easy one to forget you made.

How to Request Setup

Email us at help@hyvelabs.co with your shop URL and how refunds will be recorded in Xero instead.

If you only want to stop refunds posting for one payment gateway, or only stop the refund payment rather than the credit note, say so. Those are narrower changes and usually the better answer.
